Ken “Sat Judah Singh” Sperry: Is a decade long student of esoteric literature, metaphysical science, and a Kundalini Yogi. He took his first Kundalini class on the whim after repeatedly seeing the word pop up synchronistically in his life. This lead him to taking up Teacher Training at Kundalini Yoga East in NYC eventually becoming a certified IKTYA instructor. While  studying under Sat Jivan Singh and Sat Jivan Kaur direct disciples of Yogi Bhajan his view point on life drastically began to transform leaving an experience that continues to this day. “We have this saying that goes “A teacher gives you experience. A preacher gives you philosophy” My aim for this retreat is to give the class an experience not just mental candy.” “The kind of experience where we meet are true selves within and the skills on how to maintain that state of being.”

Kiersten Cregger Sun, 16 Feb 2014 20:12:36 +0000

Kiersten hails from Seattle, WA and began to practice yoga with her mother at age 10. She took up a daily Vinyasa practice during her first year of university at a studio in her neighborhood. As her physical practice progressed, she noticed that the anxiety and depression with which she often struggled had begun to soften. This opened the door to spiritual curiosity and allowed her to discover deeper dimensions of her practice and of herself.

Kiersten is a YA-200 certified teacher, trained in Vinyasa and Yin styles. Her classes often incorporate mantra, breath work and meditation. Her educational background is in psychology and she can regularly be found curled up with tea and books about Buddhist science, naturopathic medicine or trippy science fiction. She believes we are always dancing. She is happy that we are all dancing together.
