---BΞT∆ W∆VΞ VOL. I---
JASON LESCALLEET (extended solo set)
"Lescalleet's sound world occupies a space between noise, contemporary composition, and minimal electronics. Using decidedly primitive tactics and equipment (e.g. antiquated reel-to-reel recorders, damaged tape, etc.), his work focuses on extreme frequencies and microscopic audio detail.
Jason Lescalleet is an exciting tape-music artist. He's been a member of Due Process, performed and recorded with Keith Rowe, Joe Colley, Jason Kahn, John Hudak, Aaron Dilloway, Bhob Rainey and Greg Kelley (both separately and as Nmperign), and most recently Graham Lambkin in their Breadwinner project which has yielded unprecedented and glorious results in the electroacoustic music of today. Lescalleet lives and works in the state of Maine."

DECIMUS (mem. No Neck Blues Band)
"Dark psychedelia formulated by Pat Murano (No Neck Blues Band, Malkuth, K-Salvatore & Key of Shame) deigned to alternately disorient and elate by synthetic means."

"David First's musical pursuits involve mimicking and subverting the vibrational nature of the known universe with the intention of finding and exploiting the fault lines that may allow us to vacation in other dimensions. His ongoing projects include the micro-rhythm & drone ensemble, The Western Enisphere, psychedelic punk band, Notekillers, Schumann resonance drones & acupuncture performances with Isobeau Trybula & Kate Henderson, and Star Ballads, featuring singer Rachel Cox. He is also the proprietor of the sound art installation chain, Dave's Waves - a Sonic Restaurant. Among his many releases are albums on Ecstatic Peace, Phill Niblock's XI label, and most recently a Buchla synthesizer archival release on the Dais label."

"In the winter of 2013, Greg Fox was invited by master jazz drummer and holistic healer, Milford Graves to visit his basement lab in Queens, NY. It was there that Mr. Graves had spent years developing technology to generate music from the natural rhythms of the human heart. This music, according to Milford, could be used both as a diagnostic tool for human health and as means for musicians to find and follow their own natural rhythms.
A willing subject of Milford’s experiments, Greg Fox was fitted with specialized bio-sensing machinery connected to a computer programmed with custom software that allowed him, for the first time, to hear the the music of his own body. The elaborate score resulting from this visit was then used as the basis for the compositions found on Mitral Transmission.
Much like his drumming in the bands Liturgy and Guardian Alien, this work can be unflinchingly explosive, fluttering and merciless in one instance, poised and withholding in the next – seeming only to channel what is vital and in the moment. The sampled instrumentation is deliberately minimal yet richly nuanced – brought to life by the rhythmic and tonal complexities of Greg’s body. A clear progression from his recent work with Zs, Mitral Transmission is a lucid and masterfully dynamic exploration in the tradition of biofeedback and generative music."

---BΞT∆ W∆VΞ VOL. III---
"Inspired in equal measure by the throbbing urbanity of coastal cities, continental European art-rock experimentation, left-field techno, and the freewheeling punk aesthetic of contemporary home studio recording, Jonas Reinhardt’s music transcends its influences to bring into being a work that’s wholly new while referencing a celebrated aesthetic of the past.
Armed with a battery of analog synthesizers, drum machines, and effects, Jonas writes music that is at times stark and spare and at others lush and all-encompassing; all the while keeping an underlying rhythmic pulse just beneath the surface."

"Seabat is the aural transcendental release valve of John Also Bennett and Forest Christenson. Formed sometime between 2010 and 2011 in the twinkles of quantum fluctuation above the cliffs on the coast of Big Sur, Seabat now resides somewhere off the coast of Brooklyn, New York, where it occasionally makes landfall in the form of immersive, surround sound audio-visual performances."
